My treat-yourself-fridge-cake

I think we can all safely say that there are some days we just need a litle pick me up. It's not to say that the day had been awful but in that little moment you need something good to happen. Well i had one of those moments. During these moments i often like to bake something and this time it was fridge cake.
I wasn't planning on blogging about it but changed my mind last minute so sorry for the bad quality pictures
For those of you that don't know, Fridge cake is just like rocky road yet made slightly differently. After looking at different instructions i decided other peoples versions weren't good enough for me (high maintenance i know) and decided to make my own version. So without further ado, here is LottieMeg's treat-yourself-fridge-cake!
Another last minute photo!

Ingredients:

100g – unsalted butter
50g – golden syrup –
100g – mini marshmallows
150g – biscuits
75g – sultanas
Mini fudge pieces
Mini chocolate chips

Steps:

1.     Lin a pan with cling film ready for the mixture
2.     Melt the butter, syrup and chocolate on a pan
3.     Whilst these ingredients are melting, put the biscuits in a bag and smash into pieces
4.     Add all the other ingredients into a pan and mix together till all pieces are coated and to the consistency that you want
5.     Add the mixture into the pan and put in fridge
6.     Leave in fridge for 30-60 mins

Once all this is done you can enjoy your treats.

You make make these treats healthier by adding fruit such as apricots and cherries to stick the ingredients together or use dark chocolate which although isn’t healthy, its healthier then milk chocolate.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Talk to you later x
