Being on your phone in the cinema
I have a question.
Why do people feel the
need to be on their phone when they are at the cinema? Are you not enjoying the
movie?
Is it not the film you
wanted to see?
Is the world going to
end if you don’t check your phone?
Even so that does not
allow you to go on your phone during the movie. Well unless it’s the last one
then please do as I have paid a lot of money to see that film and want to at
least make it to the end.
Whilst watching
Mockingjay part 1 today the person diagonally in front of me decided that the
film clearly wasn’t good enough so went on her phone.
I’m sorry, are the
adverts on how being on your phone in the cinema ruins the film for everyone
not long and clear enough for you. There is a reason they are played.
It doesn’t matter
whether this person is directly in front or the other side of the room, the
light can be seen from any point of the room and no matter where you are it
will distract everyone else, including the people you are with.
What is so important
that you can’t turn your phone off for two hours?
If you are expecting a
call or text then don’t go to the cinema during the times that you are
expecting a call or a text. You have just spent so much money on buying a
ticket why spend the time on your phone. Plus you are most likely to buy a
drink and some food, which is always at least double the amount that they would
be anywhere else as it is almost impossible to go to the cinema and not buy
food. If you wanted to spend it on your phone why didn’t you just stay at home
and watch it online?
People on their phones
isn’t even the worst I’ve seen at the cinema, I’ve seen someone, with a big
group of people, spend the majority of the film on a DS!
Rant over.
Talk to you later x
