Valentines Day plans for those who are single | Valentines Day

Valentines day is a great excuse to spoil your loved one but for those who are single you can spend the day spoiling yourself. This is exactly what I am doing. Its also a great excuse to spoil your friends, two of my mates are spending Valentines day by getting each other presents and doing all the things they both love.
So for all of you who haven’t got a date this year these are my suggestions on how to spend Valentines day.

Movie marathon
Who doesn’t love a good movie or Netflix marathon? Spending the day in bed pigging out on junk food, ice cream is my current favourite movie food of choice, and watching so many films they all start to merge into one. I’m going to spend the day taking the mick out of love films, as hey, why do they all have to have a happy ending? If you are stuck on deciding what film to watch check out my last post with my top 10 love films, here. Or due to it being Valentines Day you could watch the movie Valentines Day.

Have a bubble bath
They are relaxing and a perfect way to just relax with a good book and have some me time. Along with this you have the great feeling of knowing you are having some enjoyable alone time when there are lots of people in crowded areas or could be out in the cold and rain. Bonus!

Spa day
If you don’t want to spend the day or money at an actual spa create your own one. Give yourself a mani and pedi allowing you to create your own weird and unique designs, use a massage bar from Lush or some scented lotion and give yourself a massage, put on a face and hair mask to soften and clean the top half of your body.

Experiment
This could be through new makeup looks, clothing styles, recipes or exercises. Always do jumping jacks? How about adding squats? Who says you can’t add chocolate chips to everything? Give it a go!

Try something new
Always wanted to try yoga? Why not now? Following on from experiment why not try that new cake recipe or start knitting. Who knows, you may find a new hobby.

Bake
Make those heart biscuits and eat them all for yourself. Who cares, you still have four months till summer no one will notice and if they do make them a cookie of a broken heart saying you suck then don't allow them to eat it. You will feel like a child but it will put you in a better mood and allows you to have another cookie.

Love yourself
Valentines day may be about showing how much you love your partner but why not spend the day treating the main person in your life more, yourself. Its enough to create a relationship for a lifetime.

Those are some of the activities that I will be doing tomorrow. What’s your Valentines Day plans?

Talk to you later x
