the princess saves herself in this one - Book Review

Spolier - This is one of my favourite books of all time - EVER!

When I first heard of the princess saves herself in this one I wasn't too sure if it was something I was going to enjoy. I owned milk and honey but hadn't started reading it by that time and once I had read it I assumed it would be the same and it would be a waste of money. Oh how bloody wrong I was!

I do see why people compare the two books due to the way they are both laid out, the themes they discuss, the look of the books and the ease of reading but in my opinion the princess saves herself in this one is my favourite. Not because of the way it is written in particular but I just connected with this one more and already want to re-read, mark my favourite pages and even doodle how I feel when reading each page, which is something that never crosses my mind.

As always with my book reviews I do not want to give anything away but the princess saves herself in this one covers a lot of trigger worthy topics such as death, multiple forms of abuse, eating disorders, cancer and grief. If these are topics that you are highly sensitive stage to I wouldn't say avoid the book because I do feel that Amanda covers these topics in a great way but would hate for someone to be triggered by this beautiful book.

I would love to fill this review with all of my favourite quotes but that would be most off the book. With this I feel peoples favourite pages are the ones that hit home most and makes you really connect with the book the most and honestly, for me, that was most of the first section titled 'the princess'. I honestly cannot pick which one I love the most out of this section so if you are thinking of getting the princess saves herself in this one or see it in the bookshop I highly recommend that you at least read a few of the pages in the first section to see for yourself. I honestly, hand on my heart, do not see how anyone can not want to buy the book after reading the first few pages.

Amandas Instagram is full of great quotes from the book and peoples views and images of the book along with a sneak peak of her new book the with doesn't burn in this one. Link here.

Overall I loved the princess saves herself in this one and Amanda Lovelace in general and would love to hear what you think.

Talk to you later x
