'Give me a head with hair, long beautiful hair' - Hair Mask Review
Just a casual lyric slip in there, anyone recognise this song other then the mashup Glee produced?
A few months ago one of my best friends Beccy became a partner with the beauty company NuSkin and since then I have been slowly trying new products to find new makeup and bath side essentials. Don't get me wrong, I still love Tropic and use their products everyday but I can safely say NuSkin is going up in my books for unique products.
I had heard of the beauty brand until Beccy started selling the products and I don't think she did either until she was messaged about the brand and how she can make money selling these products. Get to talk about beauty products all day and make money, why wouldn't you give it ago?
The hair mask, to be perfectly honest, wasn't something I was going to try as I love my £1 home bargains pot that lasts me months but when I was offered a £3 sample I decided to be a good friend and give it a go. Just a small sample pot that's 50ml lasted me 2 and a half uses and I have medium to long hair. A little really does go a long way with this one.
The key element to the hair mask that makes me love it is the fact you can leave it on for 5 minutes or 15 minutes depending on how long you have and your hair will still look amazing, just like you came back from a salon soft. For my own before and after products this was left on for about 5-8 minutes and you can already see how it tamed my 2 day frizzy mess. You can even use this hair mask as a conditioner for a real nourishing wash if preferred, although NuSkin do also have conditioners you can use.
The product isn't the cheapest but it lasts such a long time I do think it is worth the money if you want to give your hair some love. I also think this will be a perfect gift for hair lovers as it has the luxury look and feel and who doesn't enjoy trying new products?
So why I will start picking the NuSkin Hair Mask over my £1 bargain:

1. It's easier to get hold of (for me anyway)
2. It lasts a bit longer
3. You don't need to leave it on for 10-15 minutes
4. A little goes along way
5. The pot is smaller narrower so it fits on my shelf better (it's the little things with me)
Don't get me wrong, I will still pick up my £1 beauty when I can but seeing as this is only 2-3 times a year the NuSkin Hair Mask is going to be a nice alternative for when that beauty isn't available.
