Just because you're 18

Just a little tip for those who are 18 or above...

Just because you're 18 that doesn't mean you get to ignore everything your parents say to you and go against them just because you are an adult. 

Just because you're 18 this doesn't mean you get to forget or ignore what your parents have said or taught you as you also now have 'life experience' for yourself. 

Just because you're 18 doesn't mean you have to go out every night and get drunk, it doesn't mean you have to enjoy drinking. 

Just because you're 18 doesn't mean you have to do things as an independent person, everyone needs help with their life no matter what age. 

Just because you're 18 you don't have to know what you want to start doing with your life and have a plan. 

Just because you're 18 doesn't mean you will feel like a grown up or act like one on a daily basis. 

Just because you're 18 doesn't mean you have to move out, get in a serious relationship and think about children. 

Just because you're 18 doesn't mean you have to stop all the things you enjoy doing because it may not be considered an 'adult thing' to do, it is still your life. 

You may be 18 but that doesn't mean you have to stop being you. Remember that.
